The International Undergraduate Student Entrance Scholarship was created to recognize academic achievement among international students entering the University of Manitoba after graduating from international high schools.
Requirement
Scholarships will be awarded to students who meet the following criteria: • are international students (i.e., in Canada with legitimate study permits) who have submitted an application for admission to any Faculty or School at the University of Manitoba by the deadline date of March 1; • are paying the international student tuition fee rates; • have earned a minimum high school average of 85% based on the best five senior-level academic courses from our approved General Entrance Scholarship list.
Benefits
Each award’s worth is determined annually in tiers based on average high school grades. The prize values, for instance, were as follows: • Amounts averaging $3,000 or more and greater than 95% • 90% or more of the time on average – $2,000 • Amounts averaging 85% or more – $1,000
